Cowgirl Birthday Party

 I have more fun planning parties. Especially parties for my sweet girl! 

And our sweet baby boy isn't even hear yet & I already daydream about the fun parties he will have! :)

For Emma's 3rd birthday

{Yes, back in September...I'm just realizing I never posted it here! Oops!}

we had a fun cowgirl themed party that was oh-so cute & fun!

The Invitation

I am just in LOVE with shaped cards. 

The paper & printing quality is so fantastic & there are so many cute shapes to choose from!

Of course this invitation wouldn't have to be a shaped card, 

especially if you are wanting to print yourself, 

but it just adds that extra special touch!

 I decided to go simple with food & drinks this year.

Water & Milk 

{Chocolate or PINK}

and Cookies & Ice Cream

Simple & such a hit!

I used waterproof labels for the waters & milk so they would not bleed.

 Two fun Etsy purchases that added a fun touch 

were these cute wooden spoons

and paper straws. 

Pretty much all the decor was DIY

Burlap pennant banners, yarn pom pom banner & frayed fabric banner that I mixed for the backdrop.

I also made the cowgirl silhouette out of cardboard & trimmed it in rope

 

 We had boxes with cute shaped stickers for guests to fill with cookies to take home.

 Along with the cookies, the favors were cowboy or cowgirl hats. 

I got them off Oriental Trading & added a cute fabric band & flower for the girls & sheriff stars for the boys.

 I also made {with the help of my handyman dad!} these stick horses for some party time entertainment!

 I also made some simple cowboy & cowgirl coloring pages for the little ones to enjoy.

 We had our own version of a photo booth for everyone to enjoy with these cute cowgirl & cowboy cut-outs! Love them!

 A tradition I started for our kids on Emma's first birthday is to have a children's book that goes along with the theme of the party for the guests to sign. It's such a fun keepsake & they get read often!

 How cute is my sweet little cowgirl!?

 This is seriously one of the cutest parties ever! 

Get ready for some cute-overload, people! 

A friend of mine who I have know my whole life contacted me to see if I could create a party pack for her precious little boy.

I always love working with her because we are alike in our party planning ways! We want every last detail thought through & perfect. She knows what she wants & has a vision! :)

We started with beautifully printed two-sided invitations with rounded corners.

{The rounded corners are not shown here}

Then we created ALL sorts of cuteness to make every detail of the party perfect. 

She ordered several 4x6 & 5x7 signs to put in frames on the table.

As well as several different tags & labels to tie on or stick to favors, and food.

  Cupcake toppers, Napkin Rings, Water Bottle Labels, Favor Tags...

Tent Cards & Jar Labels:

She had a cute Alphabet Table set up with yummies for each letter of the alphabet. I loved her idea: she would have a food for each letter, along with a milestone Kellan had in his first year. 

For example: C is for Clapping {8 1/2 months} & Cookies

Also, he LOVES baby food, so she used baby food jars for some of the desserts with labels that said 

"Kellan's dream baby food"

Love the cute elephants on the jar lids, and the spoons tied on with bakers twine!
